EMAT Graduate Student
Assistant Professor, Microsystems Engineering, Masdar Institute, Abu Dhabi, UAE
Ph.D., Electrical Engineering, Lehigh University, 2009
Dr. Dimas visited in 2009 the EMAT group for one year to work on Monolithic IR Light Emitters. Her areas of expertise are microphotonics, microelectromechanical systems and semiconductor processing. Prior to joining Masdar Institute, she conducted research at the Center for Optical Technologies at Lehigh University on the design and fabrication of broadband quantum dot/dash light sources for interferometric sensing systems. In addition, she also previously worked at a startup on the product research and development of micromirrors for adaptive optics imaging and free-space communications.
